About the Project:
An absurdist look at one man’s pursuit of biological equality in an ever more competitive world. Down in the Mouth, a film written, directed and edited by Kirby, was shot on Super 16mm in and around New York City. To date, it’s been screened in five film festivals around the United States. In 2007 it was awarded best short film at the Kent Film Festival in Connecticut. Lynn Redgrave presented the certificate.
